Last year, Cleveland's leading reciever (Mohamed Massaquoi) only caught 34 passes. While the Browns' quarterbacks were not very good, they did not get much help from their recieving corps. A reciever would not normally go this high, but the Browns have next to nothing for Jake Delhomme/Colt McCoy to throw to, and didn't even make any moves this year to shore up the position.

It doesn't take too much analysis to figure out that the Rams have plenty of needs, and will have problems. Bradford should help earn a couple more wins, but struggles will still abound. Trading Stephen Jackson for a 1st round pick could be a smart plan--and somebody might do it. If they don't get him a weapon, he will head straight down bust alley.
Jones could easily fall massively because he has had problems with drops, but he also COULD be the next Andre Johnson. He should be a good compliment to Avery. I tend to think he should be the 4th WR taken, but some people have a massive crush on him.

Branden Albert didn't allow a sack in his final six games, so
one would think that he really improved toward the end of the season.
However, that's an incorrect assumption. Albert still allowed lots of
pressures; his sack total was simply down because Matt Cassel released
the ball quicker or just handed it off to Jamaal Charles. The left
tackle position is still in desperate need of an upgrade

The Broncos need a 3-4 end. Poor Clayborn. He would've gone here if only he didn't assault that poor cab driver. (2nd round Quan Sturdivant)

(via OAKLAND) If the Pats keep this pick, then it will likely be Ingram. However, I think this is a pick that the Patriots are looking to shop. Seattle and Denver are possible suitors. The Patriots are in a very enviable position in that this can land them several mid to late round picks which is where NE really shines. As a Seahawks fan, I really hope that Seattle pulls the trigger here to jump ahead of Cleveland in the Jake Locker sweepstakes. The value difference between the 6th and 11th pick is "only" 350 points. I think that Seattle is the team that is most likely to make a play here.

The Lions rank near the bottom of the league in just about every statistical catagory last year, but were especially bad in pass defense (ranked 32nd). the addition of Kyle Vanden Bosch and Ndamukong Suh should help, but Detroit has absoloutely no playmakers in its secondary, except for Louis Delmas. In fact, Peterson could probably step in an be a starter from day one.

Locker seems to be the consensus #1 pick for everyone right now. If that is true in 7 months, he probably won't be the guy. In 2006, we knew Reggie Bush would be first. In 2007, it was "The Brady Quinn Sweepstakes." In 2008, it was up in the air, but Glenn Dorsey seemed the most like a #1. In 2009, it was Stafford...okay that one came true. So, when Suh wasn't #1, 1 of 5 consensus guys were the top pick from October to April.
The Bills have little at QB, did not address the offensive line sufficiently, face lots of tough run defenses who will 8 in the box Spiller (no chance he wins OROY with those detriments), and the defense is in transition. Even with their schedule (which is not that tough outside the division), they probably only grab only 2-3 wins. Not to mention, they will have a new system.
Gaping hole at QB and Chan Gailey likes guys with some mobility. Perfect fit for the system.

Garrard is aging, and declining, so it will be hard to pass up a good QB option within the first five picks. The Jaguars need to start thinking about getting "fannies in the seats" and there isn't anyone that can do that better than a good young QB with potential.

The Bucs had a great offseason this year, grabbing two young recievers for Josh Freeman in Mike Williams and Arrelious Benn. They also solidified the middle of thier line for years to come with the selections of Gerald McCoy and Brian Price. That leaves them pretty set at most of thier positions. However, their pass rush leaves something to be desired, as their leader in sacks (Stylez G. White) only had 6.5 sacks. Robert Quinn will make this young D-line truly dominant for years to come.

So they decided to let Rolle, Dansby, and Boldin exit stage right, and Warner finally retired. The Cardinals are no longer going to be an offensive powerhouse. In turn, this hurts the defense. While I expect Beanie to take the next step, I think they took about 10 steps back.
Mallett is a big QB with a big arm. He is ready to be the face of a franchise, and that is what Arizona needs.

The Bears improved themselves with Julius Peppers, but will not be raking in the wins against the Packers and Vikings with Chester Taylor. It is a pass heavy offense, and none of the WRs impress me. Each of their guys profile as a slot guy to me. Knox reminds me of Eddie Royal--so maybe he is a Cutler 2.
Anywho, they need a #1 WR really badly. Baldwin is a stud. He would have been the first wide receiver taken last year, and I have him 4th here? What a crazy WR year.
